DFPF- IITD award in SME Sector
Northern Ireland based DFPF Limited is actually two companies rolled into one. The first, Dairy Farm Training, is a community based operation specialising in job skills training for unemployed adults, young people, women returning to work and the disabled.
The second is People 1st, an online e-learning business training provider offering a broad range of online training courses across Northern Ireland, and which are now in the Republic of Ireland.
DFPF’s award was given specifically for the quality of its training programme for its own trainers, a particular source of pride to Managing Director, Bernadette Daly. “We’re delighted to be the first company from Northern Ireland to win an IITD award, and especially to be recognised for the standard of our own staff training,” she says. “As a training organisation that trains others it’s crucial that we lead by example.”
People 1st offers a comprehensive range of training courses covering everything from the everyday such as presentation skills, numeracy & literacy and the ECDL, to the diversity of courses in Javascript, personal development, internet security and dealing with conflict.
